Kremmling |
|||
The town of Kremmling was first established in 1860 at the junction of the Muddy Creek, Blue River, and the Colorado River. The founders hoped that gold might be found in the hills nearby, but it was not and the town site remained devoid of settlers until 1884 when Rudolph Kremmling built a dry-goods store which catered to nearby ranchers. The local economy still depends on ranching. |
