Cathedral Gorge State Park is located one mile north of the intersection of US Highway 93 and Nevada State Highway 319 in Eastern Nevada. About one million years ago the area was a lake. Over the eons the lake dried up and erosion cut the betonite clay sediment into strange shapes and forms. |
