A Trip to Australia and New Zealand
Sydney Airport
We found the airport to be very easy to get to from our hotel in The Rocks. We walked the equivalent of two or three city blocks, purchased a train ticket, went up an escalator one floor, waited less than ten minutes, boarded an air-conditioned train, and traveled about a half an hour to another station where we got off the train, went up an escalator, and voila we were in the international terminal. After checking in we scouted the shops and then settled into very comfortable chairs and ordered lunch. We checked and replied to email with our laptop after lunch, and then wandered over to the Apple store to drool over the toys. If we had not brought our own computer we could have used the free service available in the terminal. As airports go - this one was very hospitable.
