A Trip to Australia and New Zealand
Sydney - Australian Museum
The folks at the Australian Museum also have a sense of humor. This dinasaur obviously lives on the second floor of the museum. His head and tail poke out of various windows over the entrance. The day that we visited it was a popular place to be for families and we had to stand in line to get in. The kids loved the dinasaur.
Once we got in the humor continued in one of the very first displays that we visited. First the fellow on the horse and then the guy reading a book with his dog by his side and a rat in the corner of the room.
Although we enjoyed the humorous displays the rest of the room was full of some interesting skeletons. They even had a Moa from New Zealand.
