We quickly fell into a pattern - up early with sightseeing all day and then dinner and dessert in two different places - usually in The Rocks. Early on we found a couple of bistro type cafes in The Rocks that we favored for dinner and a particular spot just down a ways from our hotel on George Street for coffee and dessert.
We could sit outside in both our favorite bistro and our favorite dessert cafe. After the sun went down the air cooled off a bit and usually a breeze would come up off of the harbor. People wander around The Rocks until late at night and so we could people watch while we savored a cappuccino and destroyed any thought of diet with various forms of Belgian chocolate.
