Edge of the Cedars State Park |
||||
The pit house village located at the Edge of the Cedars State Park in Blanding, Utah, was first occupied in A.D. 825. It was part of a large network of late Puebloan (also known as Anasazi) communities in the Four Corners Region. A later group of people built the Great Kiva and the central pueblo and remained here until about A.D. 1215. The museum at the park has an extensive collection of outstanding period ceramic work from the surrounding area. |
