Newspaper Rock |
||||
The earliest petroglyphs on Newspaper Rock are believed to have been made before the Birth of Christ. After those archaic peoples left the scene the Fremont and Pueblo peoples made their contirbutions until about 1300 A.D. In more modern times Utah and Navajo people also wrote on the rock face. In the Navajo language the rock is called "Tse Hane" - Rock that Tells a Story. |
