Items offered in the tarp covered stalls and small shops include the obligatory t-shirts and baseball hats with appropriately irreverent designs and slogans, a wide assortment of dolls, furs, "porcelain," jewelry, icons, shawls, and military insignia. There is usually also a small assortment of soft drinks, chocolate bars, vodka, caviar, and cigarettes available in one or another corner of the market. Quality seems to vary little for most items, but the highest prices are usually found in the larger cities and the fanciest souvenir shops are located in the most prestigious museums.
