During the period that we were in Russia the US dollar was converting to Russian rubles at about 23.44 to 1. The price of the bathrobe in the picture below is listed at 2,850 rubles. That equates to about $121.58. Kind of pricey for a terry cloth robe even if it has an embroidered dolphin on the lapel - particularly true if you are not one of the oligarchs. I didn't bother to price the fur coat or the Swiss watches. |
